For the renewal open of the wine bar “Gion kou” in Kyoto, KYOGO Nishijin textile fabric was selected as interior decoration in the form of wallpaper.
For this project, we enhanced the hemp patterns of the original COIKI008 to achieve a more vibrant and refined blurry design. The marriage between KYOGO's design and the traditional Kumiko technique, the assembling of wooden pieces, confers to this wine bar a peaceful and charming atmosphere.
