We made an original design for the panels of a cafe recommended for families named "cafe&deli comori" in Shimogamo, Kyoto.
This design expresses a fantastic shining forest by using gold threads. The trees and leaves are made with various Nishijin techniques to create this amazing relief. By combaination of gold and coloured threads, we were be able to faithfully transcribe the flow of hair or facial expressions of the deer.
